More details surface of the Aqara M2 Hub

More details of the new Aqara M2 Hub have emerged following the company’s accidental leak of information via the App which we previously reported on.

Aqara unintentionally revealed the new hub alongside other new products, via an update to the Aqara app. While they since removed these details, HomeKitNews has discovered some further details.

Aqara M2 Hub specs

The Aqara M2 Hub will be model number ZHWG12LM and will support Apple HomeKit. It will work with the forthcoming T1 sensors that Aqara have planned for later in the year?

The new hub will use WiFi and Zigbee 3.0 and will have the ability to create a Bluetooth Mesh hub. It also looks like Aqara has included an Infrared sensor which could control any device that uses a remote control.

It is still unclear what the release date will be of the Aqara M2 Hub. But one thing for sure, its going to be a feature packed HomeKit hub when it does.
