Which HomeKit accessory icons can you change

The Home app gives all your HomeKit accessories a default icon whenever you add them to HomeKit. But you probably didn’t know that you can add different icons to identify smart accessories.

Not all HomeKit accessory types have multiple icons. Sensors, cameras, and many others only have one default icon. I am hoping this changes at WWDC 2018

There are two accessories types that give you options to choose between.

The first are outlets. An outlet could be one of three things. A plain power outlet, a light, or a fan. The fan icon is especially cool as this icon is actually animated. When the fan is on, it rotates, and when off, it is motionless. How to change HomeKit Icons

The second type of icon that can be changed is a light. There are so many different types of lights in one’s home, so Apple gives you four choices to choose between. A bulb (which is the default), a floor lamp, a ceiling mounted lamp, and a table lamp.
