Garmin Vivomove HR leaked with touchscreen

A press render of the Garmin Vivomove HR was recently leaked by Evan Blass while also mentioning the name of the device as well as details of the announcement. Only 2 weeks ago the Garmin VivoActive 3 was leaked and this is also expected to be revealed at the IFA Berlin.

Essential reading: Garmin Vivosmart 3 review

The leaked pictures of the Vivomove HR appear to show a touch screen and judging by this particular detail, it seems clear that this will have smartwatch features, but what isn’t clear is if this will carry a OS designed by Garmin specifically for this device. The presence of a touch screen and smart features as also present on the Garmin Vivoactive 3 which may mean Garmin are going in that direction with some of its wearables. However, I am not sure if these will be useful given how hard it is to type on a small screen like this. The watch may feature a heart rate sensor on the back, as shown in the render.

Garmin Vivomove HR leaked swappable bands

This also won’t be the only device likely to show up at IFA, as renders of the Garmin Vivoactive 3 recently showed up with a similar design. This isn’t a guarantee that Garmin will announce both watches, but since the Vivoactive 3 has yet to receive an announcement of its own, IFA seems like it could be the most likely place for it to show up in an official capacity. The Vivomove HR looks like it comes with a metal watch case, and it definitely has swappable bands as you can see the latch to unhinge the band at each side of the watch lugs.

At the moment the pricing is not known and if they announce it soon then we will certainly be the first to tell you
