The Dive app is about to enter public Beta stage, but anyone can register to test it out. After you have paired it with your Descent dive watch, you can then analyse your dives just like you would any workout. The app will show detail like ascent time, max ascent rate, max depth, bottom time, surface entry, exit points and much more.Garmin dive app log

Besides logging dives, you can also search for new diving locations. The search feature allows you to search by dive type and chose a place based on its popularity. Which is like Trendline routing found on Garmin fitness watches such as the Fenix 6? When searching for the perfect dive spot you can checkout reviews and logs from other divers.Garmin dive app analyse

This is an interesting move by Garmin and given the Decent MK1 launched at the back end of 2017. We could see a updated version coming in 2020 along with improved hardware
