Garmin at CES 2020 – what to expect

CES is the annual event that the world’s tech companies to show off new consumer products. However, if you have been watching how things over the past few years. You may have noticed that lots of the big tech companies are tending not to make big announcements but, that being said, we should see Garmin announce some tech goodness at CES 2020.

Before we get into what is a possibility, I just wanted to share that there has been very little leaks in the run up to CES 2020. This could mean that Garmin has tightened up on things or very little is coming. Or that it did most of its big product announcements post Christmas. So don’t expect any surprise Fenix 7 announcements or anything major, for this quarter at least.

Next to the product name, I have put a percentage of how likely it will get annouced

CES 2020 expected announcements

  • Garmin Index Scale – 95%
  • Forerunner 655 – 80%
  • Garmin HRM-PRO – 90%
  • Instinct 2 Solar – 65%

Q2 Garmin possible releases

  • Garmin Forerunner 945 plus or 945 LTE watch – 70%
  • Fenix 6 solar – 70%.
  • Venu LTE variant – 50%.
  • Garmin Edge 1030 Plus – 75%
  • Garmin Edge 130 Plus – 75%
