Belkin has released the Wemo bridge to add support for HomeKit and now the company has updated the Wemo Mini smart plug with Apple HomeKit support, no bridge or hub required to pair it
Since Belkin released the Wemo bridge, I have been trying to get my hands on one in the UK to test with the Wemo smart plug, but it’s not currently not released here yet, but neither is the Wemo Mini smart plug.
so Belkin adding HomeKit support to the Wemo Mini could mean we could see it added to other products without the HomeKit Bridge in the near future including the Wemo Insight switch.
