Arlo HomeKit support coming soon?

Back at CES 2019, Netgear announced that the Arlo Ultra would support Homekit later in the year. While other companies in the past have made HomeKit support promises, like Ring. It now looks like HomeKit support is coming to the Arlo Ultra soon.

So it would seem Arlo is getting closer to keeping their word, according to Reddit user u/adammiarka he noticed via his Arlo iPhone app, a message stating that “Arlo cameras now work with HomeKit.” Arlo HomeKit support

While it looks like HomeKit support for the Arlo camera is close, we have had no report that any of these cameras have been able to update to work with Apple HomeKit.

It is also worth noting that so far, anyone with the older Arlo Pro v1 cameras may not get any firmware updates for HomeKit compatibility. According to its press release, the HomeKit firmware will only support Arlo Pro 2 and the Arlo Ultra.
