The Apple Watch Series 4 has been revealed with an with a new improved larger screen size of 40mm and 44mm, improved processor and new optical HR sensor with ECG. This comes after months of speculation and rumours. Prices of the New watch start at $399 and are available for pre-order Friday 14th September 2018.
The biggest stand out feature of the Apple Watch 4 is the new ECG monitor that features on the back of the watch which has FDA approval.

Apple Watch Series 4 improved screen
Apple has improved and it is 32% and 35% larger across the 2 model sizes of 40mm and 44mm. The screen has been pushed right to the edges with curved corners. The improved screen means you can fit more on the screen estate.
Apple Watch Series 4 with a new processor
Apple has improved processor and its called. the S4 processor. The new processor contains a new dual-core 64-bit processor and is up to 2X faster performance based on the previous generation Apple Watch.
Apple Watch Series 4 ECG
The new Apple Watch Series 4 will come with first ECG product offered over the counter to consumers. You can take an ECG by putting your finger on the digital crown and looks easy to check at a glance. Apple has received FDA clearance.
Apple Watch Series 4 Battery life
Despite the bigger screen, ECG and the extra features the Apple Watch Series battery life will be up to 18 hours. Whilst this is not as impressive as a Fenix 5 Plus or a Suunto 9, but still a good battery life for a smartwatch.
Apple Watch Series 4 Colours
The Apple Watch Series 4 will come in aluminium in silver, space grey and Gold. Along with that, it will come in Stainless steel in Space grey and black with a custom Gold stainless.
Apple Watch Series 4 Price and availability
The Apple Watch Series 4 will start at $399/£399 and with cellular at $499/£499. It will be available for pre-order from Friday 14th September and it will start shipping 21st September 2018.
