Apple to Launch AirPods 3 With Noise Cancellation

Apple is planning to launch the third generation of its popular AirPods by the end of the year. The New AirPods 3 may feature noise cancellation.

Noise cancellation is not a new technology with the likes of Bose and Sony already leading the way. But if Apple wants to expand on the 35 million pairs of AirPods in 2018, commanding a 75% global market share. The company will need to bring something new, and this could be noise cancellation.

However, the one thing that springs to mind is, Noise cancellation technology will put an extra strain on the already stretched AirPods. So Apple will need to make advances in this area to ship the AirPod 3 with a reliable battery.

According to the source of information, DigiTimes. Taiwan’s Inventec is reported to be the primary assembler with China’s Luxshare Precision getting some orders. Shipping is expected to happen towards the end of 2019.
