Apple Arcade will officially launch on Thursday, September 19th. However some iOS 13 Beta users have early access to the new gaming subscription service.
However, it would appear Apple Arcade isn’t yet accessible to everyone regardless of running an iOS beta or not. With only a select portion of beta users selected to try the service out ahead of Thursday’s release.
The new gaming subscription service will launch to everyone this Thursday, September 19th. The service was first announced back in March. The new gaming service will be $4.99/£4.99 after Apple confirmed availability and pricing last week. You will also be able to sign up for a 1 month free trial to see if it is for you.
Early Apple Arcade reviews are coming in with some positive appreciation of the new service. I have also given the service a try via the one month offer and the games I have downloaded so far are good quality. However, it’s still early days if the service will be value for money.
